‘Gaza will never return to what it was,’ says Israel Defence Minister Yoav Gallant

Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Gaza will “never go back to what it was” and that he has  “released all restraints” on the Israel Defence Power (IDF) of their struggle towards Hamas.

“Hamas wanted a change in Gaza, it will change 180 degrees from what he thought. They will regret this moment. Gaza will never return to what it was,” Gallant stated, calling Hamas the “ISIS of Gaza,” Gallant stated.

In an handle to troops deployed alongside the Gaza border, the Israeli Defence Minister stated, “I have released all the restraints. We have [regained] control of the area and we are moving to a full offence.”

Hinting on the ongoing counter-offensive persevering with for a number of months, he added, “We will return here, to Be’eri, in a few months, and the situation will be different. We will resettle the kibbutz until its last meter.”

IDF’s spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated that killing senior Hamas members was a high precedence.

In a put up shared on X, IDF said, “Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck over 200 targets in the Al-Furqan neighbourhood–a terrorist hotspot from which Hamas devises and executes their attacks. This is the 3rd counterstrike in the area during the last 24 hours, in which 450 targets were struck.”

That is the third counterstrike within the space over the past 24 hours, during which 450 targets have been struck.

The IDF stated that the Al Furkan neighborhood serves as a terror-nest for Hamas and from the place many actions towards Israel are carried out.
