‘Citizens of Israel, we are at war’: Benjamin Netanyahu after Hamas attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a video assertion on Saturday introduced ‘Israel is at war’. His assertion comes after Palestinian militants within the Gaza Strip carried out an unprecedented infiltration into southern Israel, sending fighters throughout the border and firing 1000’s of rockets into the nation because the ruling Hamas militant group introduced the start of a brand new operation.

In his assertion, Netanyahu stated, “Citizens of Israel, we are at war. Not an operation, not an escalation — at war.”

Earlier, Israel’s defence minister introduced that the Hamas militant group has began a conflict towards Israel and pledged that “Israel will win.”

Following a safety cupboard assembly on the Israeli army headquarters in Tel Aviv, Protection Minister Yoav Gallant warned that Hamas “made a grave mistake” in launching barrages of rockets into southern and central Israel in its shock morning assault.

The Israeli army put the nation on conflict alert and started putting targets in Gaza in response, setting the stage for what was more likely to be a brand new heavy spherical of combating between the bitter enemies. In a critical escalation, salvos of rockets fired from Gaza set off fixed air raid sirens as far north as Jerusalem.
