IOC Session in India: PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate 141st International Olympic Session in Mumbai on 14 October

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 141st Worldwide Olympic Committee (IOC) session on the Jio World Centre in Mumbai on 14 October.

The session serves as a key assembly of the members of the Worldwide Olympic Committee.

Necessary choices relating to the way forward for Olympic video games are made at IOC periods. India is internet hosting the IOC session for the second time and after a spot of about 40 years. The IOC’s 86th session was held in New Delhi in 1983.

The 141st IOC Session, being held in India, embodies the nation’s dedication to fostering international cooperation, celebrating sporting excellence, and furthering the Olympic beliefs of friendship, respect, and excellence, a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Workplace (PMO) stated.

It offers a possibility for interplay and data sharing among the many numerous sports-related stakeholders, it stated.

The session can even be attended by the President of the Worldwide Olympic Committee Thomas Bach and different members of the IOC together with distinguished Indian sports activities personalities and representatives from numerous sports activities federations, together with the Indian Olympic Affiliation, the assertion stated.
