India’s ace squash participant Saurav Ghosal was delighted with the information that squash was added to the roster for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, including that the athletes had been able to showcase their abilities on the world’s grandest sporting stage.
On the latest IOC Session in Mumbai, the session had authorised squash as one of many 5 sports activities to be included within the LA 28 Olympics. Saurav added that as athletes, he actually hoped the inclusion of squash would add worth to the Olympics.
“We really hope we can add some value to the Olympics in 2028. As athletes, we are ready to showcase the world at the world’s biggest stage, that is the Olympics what our sport is about,” the 37-year-old added.
