The India males’s workforce comprising of Muhammed Anas, Amoj Jacob, Ajmal Muhammed and Rajesh clinched gold medal within the 4×400 relay competitors on the 2023 Asian Video games in Hangzhou on Wednesday. The quartet recorded a timing of three:01.58, ending forward of Qatar and Sri Lanka, who clinched silver and bronze medals respectively.
The Indian workforce had secured qualification to the ultimate with a timing of three:03.81, thereby beating Qatar, Japan and Iraq.
Earlier, the quartet of Vithya Ramraj, Aishwarya Mishra, Prachi and Subha Venkatesan claimed a silver in ladies’s 4x400m relay.
India are at present in fourth place so far as the medals standings are involved. India have clinched a complete of 81 medals in Hangzhou, their highest-ever haul within the Asian Video games, that features 18 gold, 31 silver and 32 bronze.
