The Election Fee of India on Wednesday modified the ballot date in Rajasthan to 25 November. Earlier, the meeting polls within the state have been set to occur on 23 November.

“The issue was raised in various social media platforms for change of date of poll considering large scale wedding/social engagement on that day that may cause inconvenience to large number of people,” the EC stated.
In the meantime, the date of election outcomes will stay unchanged, ie, 3 December.
