Police arrests man who wore Money heist jumpsuit, mask and showered money on mob

Screengrab from the viral video.

A 28-year-old man was arrested following a video during which he was seen throwing Rs 20 notes by standing atop his automobile at two malls in Jaipur. The person wore a Cash heist bounce swimsuit and masks to cover his identification.

As per cops, it turned out that he was attempting to recreated the film scene for his Instagram as he claimed to be an influencer.

DCP (East) Gyan Chandra Yadav mentioned that the person was recognized as Ajay Sharma, resident of town’s Pratap Nagar space. “Initial investigation indicates that the man’s intention was to recreate a scene from the ‘Money Heist’ web series. He claimed that the notes were fake,” mentioned Ajay Yadav.

To create content material for an Instagram reel, Sharma visited two malls within the city-Metropolis Pulse and Gaurav Tower-on October 1, Yadav mentioned. “When the video went viral, police launched an investigation to determine his whereabouts. We identified the vehicle registration number from the video and subsequently summoned the accused. On Tuesday we arrested him,” Yadav mentioned, including that Sharma was booked for disturbing the peace and violating the Motor Car Act.

“He took his father’s car to reach the malls. He claimed that the currency he threw was not real, but ‘toy notes’,” Yadav mentioned, including that additional probe was underway.
