Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday asserted that India is seen globally as a essential pillar of stability, a dependable ally, a driving drive behind international financial progress, a hub for technological innovation, and a reservoir of extremely expert youth.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the tenth version of the Vibrant Gujarat World Summit, PM Modi stated, “The world looks at India as an important pillar of stability. A friend who can be trusted, a partner who believes in people-centric development, a voice that believes in global good, a voice of the Global South, an engine of growth in the global economy, a technology hub for finding solutions, a powerhouse of talented youth and a democracy that delivers…”

He stated the representatives from over 100 nations, together with state heads and high CEOs of personal firms, who’re collaborating on this summit are essential companions in India’s growth journey.

“This is the first Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in this Amrit Kaal. Therefore, this is even more significant. Representatives from more than 100 countries, who are participating in this summit, are crucial partners in this development journey of India…,” stated the Prime Minister.

PM Modi stated all main score companies are of the opinion that India can be among the many three largest economies of the world within the subsequent few years.

“Today, India is the fifth largest economy in the world. 10 years ago, India was on the 11th position. These reforms have enhanced the capacity, capability and competitiveness of India’s economy…,” stated PM Modi.

“Recently, we celebrated 75 years of India’s independence and in the next 25 years we will celebrate 100 years. These 25 years is ‘amrit kaal’ for India. We have set a goal of making India a developed country in the next 25 years,” he added.

On the event, Modi credited UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was current on the occasion because the chief visitor, for the “high growth of India-UAE relations”.

“The participation of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in this Summit, is a matter of great joy for us. His presence as the chief guest at Vibrant Gujarat Summit is a symbol of the ever-strengthening relations between India and UAE…,” stated PM Modi.
