PM Modi and UAE President introduce UPI RuPay card service in Abu Dhabi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed on Tuesday and launched the UPI RuPay card service in Abu Dhabi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13 arrived on a two-day journey to UAE. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the PM. Each leaders launched the UPI RuPay card service in Abu Dhabi. He was given a guard of honour on his arrival within the nation.

He was later accorded a ceremonial welcome on the Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace. The leaders will then maintain conferences to take ahead the bilateral strategic partnership.

That is the Prime Minister’s seventh go to to the UAE since 2015.

Throughout his assembly with UAE President, PM Narendra Modi stated, “I thank you for the warm welcome. Whenever I come here to meet you, I always feel I have come to meet my family. We’ve met 5 times in the last 7 months, it’s very rare and reflects our closerelationship.”

He additionally stated he’ll deal with the members of the Indian neighborhood from all of the Emirates of the UAE at a particular occasion in Abu Dhabi.
