Operation Ajay: Second flight carrying 235 Indians lands in New Delhi

The second flight carrying 235 Indian nationals from Israel beneath Operation Ajay landed in New Delhi early on Saturday.

The 235 Indian passengers, together with two infants, had been safely evacuated from the war-struck nation on Friday.

India launched ‘Operation Ajay’ on Thursday to facilitate the return of those that want to return house following the brazen assaults on Israeli cities by Hamas militants from Gaza on October 7, triggering contemporary pressure within the risky area.

The second flight took off from Israel at 11:02 pm native time.

Officers advised PTI that the operation to deliver again Indians safely shall be continued tomorrow as effectively.

A researcher at Bar-Ilan College, Safed has thanked the Indian authorities for ‘Operation Ajay’.

“I really want to thank the Government of India for evacuating us from the war situation in Israel… Our government has evacuated us from such a situation under ‘Operation Ajay’,” Suryakant Tiwari, PhD scholar at Azrieli School of Medication, Bar-Ilan College, Safed advised PTI.

On Friday, the primary chartered flight carrying 212 Indians, together with one toddler, landed in New Delhi.

The passengers had been chosen on a “first come first serve” foundation after a drive launched by the Indian embassy for all Indians to register on the mission’s database. The federal government is bearing the price of their return.

There are about 18,000 Indian nationals dwelling and dealing in Israel together with caregivers, college students, a number of IT professionals, and diamond merchants.
