No India-Pakistan cricket match until they cease sponsoring terrorism: Anurag Thakur

India on Friday stated that there can be no sporting occasion, together with cricket matches, with Pakistan until the nation stops cross border terrorism.

The choice was prompted after the lack of lives of two Military officers – a Colonel and Main – and a senior police officer within the gunbattle with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. This has additional soured relations between India and Pakistan.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports activities, Anurag Thakur on Friday stated that there can be no India-Pakistan cricket matches till the nation ends terrorism.

“BCCI has already taken the decision that bilateral matches with Pakistan will not be played by India till they stop cross-border terrorism,” Thakur stated.

“This is in line with the sentiments of Indian citizens,” he added.

The choice confirms that India can have no bilateral sequence with Pakistan till they agree that terror and speak can not occur collectively.

There have been clamouring requires the Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) for boycotting the Pakistan cricket workforce and any match with them after three safety personnel had been killed whereas preventing terrorists throughout an encounter in Anantnag.

As per stories, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) offshoot – The Resistance Entrance – has claimed accountability for the assault in Anantnag and Kokernag. The terrorist group said that the assault was an act of revenge for the dying of their veteran chief in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) earlier this month.

Responding to the anger amongst Indians, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla instructed ANI, “…There’s a very clear policy, we don’t play any bilateral series with Pakistan.”

He additional stated that the BCCI calls for for strict motion in opposition to the terrorists. “In the past 20 years, all the government has fought against terrorism…The financial state of Pakistan is very bad and despite that supporting terrorism is neither in their interest nor in the world’s interest.” He added, “We salute the military, and police preventing there and it’s totally unhappy that three officers misplaced their lives,” Shukla stated.

Pakistan are already out of Asia Cup. India had been scheduled to tackle Pakistan within the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup.

The a lot waited India-Pakistan cricket match is scheduled for 14 October on the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
