India’s first RRTS train named ‘Namo Bharat’, PM Modi to inaugurate on October 20

India’s first Regional Speedy Transit System (RRTS) practice can be often called “Namo Bharat”.

The RRTS practice can be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, October 20, 2023.

The “Namo Bharat” RRTS practice will cowl 17-km part of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot.

As soon as the practice service will get operational, the journey time between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot can be simply 12 minutes, which often takes round 30-35 minutes by highway.

The RRTS is developed by the Nationwide Capital Area Transport Company (NCRTC), a three way partnership of the Authorities of India and governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Hall is the primary RRTS challenge being applied in India, and can be intently adopted by the Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat corridors.

The full size of the Delhi-Meerut hall is 82 kilometres which can be lined in simply an hour. It contains 24 stations. The primary section overlaying 17 kilometres will cowl 5 stations- Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and the Duhai Depot.

The challenge has been constructed at a price of Rs 30,274 crore. The Asian Growth Financial institution, New Growth Financial institution and Asian Infrastructure Funding Financial institution have additionally funded this challenge.
