Indian Navy responds to distress call from damaged Iranian fishing vessel, provides medical help to crew

The Indian Navy on Monday supplied essential assist and medical help to an Iranian Fishing Vessel (FV) Ameen.

The ship had six Iranian crew on board and was working East of Duqm. FV Ameen sustained damages after it allegedly collided with a service provider vessel. The Navy mentioned that the collision resulted in a hull breach resulting in water ingress.

Indian Navy extends serving to hand

Responding to a misery name from the vessel, the Navy deployed a mission within the North Arabian Sea for maritime safety operations.

The mission supplied injury management help and strengthened the hull making it protected for additional transit.

Aside from this medical support was additionally supplied to a few injured crew members.
