Hitting out on the Opposition bloc, I.N.D.I.A, Union Minster Nitin Gadkari Thursday mentioned “the weak people have come together to forge an alliance when they understood that they cannot compete alone and will face defeat.”
In an interview to PTI, Gadkari exuded confidence that BJP will win extra variety of seats in 2024 Lok Sabha elections from what it’s now.
“Narendra Modi will once again become the Prime Minister,” Gadkari mentioned, including that the voters will once more deliver BJP to energy for the higher way forward for the nation.
‘NDA did in 10 years what Congress could not in 60’
Lauding the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gadkari mentioned: “I can firmly say that what couldn’t be done by the Congress in 60 years, we (NDA government) did it in 10 years.”
He mentioned that the picture of India has modified to get higher below the management of PM Modi.

“India has progressed in all sectors… Before 2070, India will be going to become a carbon-neutral country. Our automobile industry was at the seventh spot when I became the minister in 2014, now it stands at third spot,” Gadkari mentioned.
“Whatever best which you can deliver for the country, we are doing it,” the Union highway transport minister mentioned.
“We are continuously making efforts (towards developing road infrastructure). While we face hurdles like land acquisition, and forest and environment clearance, we work with the motive of moving forward by overcoming such hurdles. There are some people who convert problems into opportunities, and there are some who convert opportunities into problems. Converting problems into opportunities is what we call leadership criteria,” Gadkari mentioned.

The minister has been in information after his assertion earlier this week the place he mentioned he can be submitting a proposal to the finance minister to levy an extra 10 per cent GST on diesel engine autos.
The minister mentioned his intention is to spice up climate-friendly autos and referred to as the extra 10 per cent GST “pollution tax”.
He even requested business to cut back manufacturing of diesel autos, else the federal government must enhance taxes a lot in order that it might be tough to promote diesel autos.
