Amid current encounters in Jammu and Kashmir, former J&Okay Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah referred to as for talks with Pakistan.
He mentioned that these encounters won’t be over till a path will not be discovered by way of which peace may be achieved. He additionally mentioned that peace can’t be achieved by way of a battle, and can come by way of talks.
“I don’t see the end of this. Today we had an encounter in Rajouri, there are encounters daily. The government shouts daily that militancy is over. Now tell me, is militancy over? This will not be over until a path is not found through which peace can be achieved. Peace cannot be achieved through a fight, it can come through talks,” he mentioned.
After assembly the relations of martyred Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat, he mentioned, “It is a shocking incident, a Colonel, a Major and a Deputy SP were killed (in the encounter).”

Three Military personnel, together with the colonel and the most important, and a deputy superintendent of the Jammu and Kashmir Police had been killed within the gunfight with terrorists within the increased reaches of the Kokorenag space within the valley.
Colonel Manpreet Singh, Main Ashish Dhonchak and Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Bhat had been critically injured within the gunfight that ensued within the Garol space of Anantnag district within the morning hours of Wednesday.
