First phase of polling begins in Chhattisgarh; Mizoram gears up for triangular fight

Voting for the primary section of the Chattisgarh Meeting Elections, involving 20 seats within the state’s southern area, started on Tuesday.

The voting course of started at 7 a.m. amid tight safety.

Polling began at 7 a.m. for ten seats, which embody Mohla-Manpur, Antagarh, Bhanupratappur, Kanker, Keshkal, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Dantewada, Bijapur and Konta. 2

The polling for the remaining meeting constituencies, which embody Pandaria, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Dongargaon, Khujji, Bastar, Jagdalpur, and Chitrakote, will begin at 8 a.m. and proceed till 5 p.m.

The state of Chhattisgarh is present process elections in two phases, with the second section scheduled for November 17. 20 constituencies in Chhattisgarh, which has a 90-member home, are set for the polls on Tuesday, together with 12 from the Bastar division.

There are a complete of 223 candidates within the fray for 20 seats. 5304 voting cubicles have been arrange by the election fee for this section.

There are 40 lakh, 78 thousand, and 681 voters on this section. Of those, there are 19 lakh, 93 thousand, 937 male voters and 20 lakh, 84 thousand, 675 feminine voters.

Polling for the Mizoram Meeting started on Tuesday, the counting of which is scheduled on December 3.

The voting started at 7 a.m. on Tuesday and can proceed until 3 p.m.

A complete of 174 candidates are within the fray. Based on the CEO Mizoram, the overall variety of electors in Mizoram stands at 8,51,895.

As many as 2,058 votes have been forged by house voting and seven,497 votes by postal ballots at designated facilitation centres for the Mizoram Meeting elections.

The 40-member state meeting is the one poll-bound state the place the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP) should not the first contenders.
