ED summons Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Prasad for questioning in money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate has summoned Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and his father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad for questioning within the railways land-for-jobs cash laundering case probe, official sources mentioned on Wednesday.

Whereas Tejashwi has been requested to depose on December 22, Prasad has been requested to seem on December 27 to file their statements beneath the Prevention of Cash Laundering Act (PMLA).

The alleged rip-off pertains to the interval when Prasad was the railway minister within the UPA-1 authorities.

It’s alleged that from 2004 to 2009, a number of folks have been appointed to Group “D” positions in numerous zones of the Indian Railways and in lieu, these folks transferred their land to the members of the family of the then railway minister Prasad and a linked firm A Okay Infosystems Personal Restricted.
