Congress forms five-member committee to forge alliances with I.N.D.I.A bloc partners

Whilst I.N.D.I.A bloc leaders are assembly at present to deliberate on a blueprint for a joint marketing campaign and seat-sharing association for 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress on Tuesday shaped a five-member committee to carry discussions on forging alliances with different events for the polls.

“In the run-up to the general election 2024, the Congress president has constituted a National Alliance Committee with immediate effect,” the celebration stated in an announcement.

“Senior party leader Mukul Wasnik will be the convener of the committee,” it added.

Different members of the Nationwide Alliance Committee are former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. Former union minister Salman Khurshid and senior chief Mohan Prakash are additionally members.

Sources stated the panel will look into all points of forming alliances with different events.

In the meantime, the I.N.D.I.A bloc assembly started on the Ashoka Resort within the nationwide capital with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP chairperson Sonia Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee and former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in attendance.
