Clashes erupted Sunday in Agra’s Dayalbagh space as police tried to take away a spiritual group allegedly occupying land belonging to the income division.
“There was unlawful encroachment on the land belonging to the Income Division. A requirement was made for the police forces by the Income Division to take away the unlawful encroachment, “Deputy Commissioner of Police Suraj Kumar Rai advised ANI.
The police officers have been attacked by the group upon their arrival on the spot, in line with DCP Rai.

The spiritual group claimed that the land belonged to them and was requested to supply the paperwork within the subsequent 24 hours.
“They have been given 24 hours to show their documents,” police mentioned.
Police have been finishing up a drive since yesterday to take away the alleged unlawful encroachment within the Dayalbagh space of Agra.
