Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Thursday introduced that the Supreme Court docket would quickly come below the Nationwide Judicial Knowledge Grid platform which can allow real-time info on pendency of circumstances.

Calling it a historic day, CJI Chandrachud stated the platform has been introduced in a bid to convey transparency and accountability within the judicial system.
“It is a historic day. It is a unique platform which has been developed by the NIC and the in-house team of the Supreme Court. Now, at the click of a button, you can see real-time information on the pendency of cases, year-wise, total pendency of registered and unregistered cases, number of cases decided qoram-wise,” stated the CJI.
The Nationwide Judicial Knowledge Grid is a database of orders, judgments and case particulars of 18,735 District and Subordinate Courts and Excessive Courts created as an internet platform below the eCourts Mission. With CJI’s announcement, the Supreme Court docket can even be included on this database.
