Centre shortlists 30 key cities to make them beggar-free, more likely to be included in next two years

The Centre has shortlisted 30 cities spanning from Ayodhya within the north to Thiruvananthapuram within the south and Guwahati within the east to Trimbakeshwar within the west for the survey and rehabilitation of adults, particularly ladies and youngsters, concerned in begging, in keeping with a Instances of India report.
