‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ chants echo in Panipat as mortal stays of Main Aashish Dhonchak martyred in Anantnag

The mortal stays of Main Ashish Dhonchak, who misplaced his life in an anti-terror operation in Jammu’s Anantnag have been taken to Haryana’s Panipat for final rites.

Chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ by college college students and locals reverberated on the street that was used to hold the mortal stays.

A resident of Panipat, Main Dhonchak is survived by his spouse Jyoti and a five-year-old daughter named Vamika.

Earlier than he was posted in Kashmir, Main Dhonchak was posted in Punjab’s Bathinda. He was additionally honoured with the Sena Medal final month.

Together with Main Dhonchak, Colonel Manpreet Singh and DSP Humayun Bhat additionally died through the ambush.
