Allegation of Nijjar murder haven’t hurt India’s diplomacy, says High Commissioner to Australia

Canada’s allegations of the involvement of India’s position within the killing of a Sikh separatist chief have barely affected the South Asian nation’s diplomacy within the Indo-Pacific, based on Excessive Commissioner to Australia Manpreet Vohra.

Talking on the sidelines of an Asia Society occasion in Sydney on Thursday, Vohra mentioned that though Australia initially referred to as for an investigation after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the accusations, there had been no vital response from Southeast Asia and past, Bloomberg reported.

In an interview with Bloomberg, he mentioned “I don’t suppose it’ll affect every other relationship. It was as much as Canada to put out proof to again its allegations.

The killing of Khalistan chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada in June led to a diplomatic disaster between New Delhi and Ottawa in September after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged India’s involvement in his homicide.

Nijjar was gunned down by two people sporting masks outdoors a gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia. India has unequivocally refuted any involvement within the incident, dismissing Trudeau’s allegations as “absurd” and pushed by political motives.
