Shilpa Shetty’s husband and entrepreneur Raj Kundra, who’s all set to make his performing debut with UT69, revealed that he wished to finish his life in jail due to the humiliation and harm to his status he confronted after being concerned within the pornography case.
“My wife was actually the first person to say, ‘Do you want to live abroad Raj? You left everything in London, you were born and brought up there, you moved here because I wanted to be here. But if you want, I can make things work and let’s leave the country, let’s go abroad.’ I told her that I love India and won’t leave. Speaking about his jail section, he added, “I had really broken down, enough to probably end things inside. I won’t use the word, but I was in a… There was so much humiliation, reputational damage. Because of me, media went behind my wife, children and parents. That was painful. I knew what was going on outside.”
Speaking about his debut movie, Raj instructed ANI, “People are fighting inside to sleep, to eat, so whatever it is, there is no remorse in it. These people will come and talk among themselves and when they come out of jail and there is no reform, they will just go inside crying, so if you have kept someone inside, you give a little facility to that type.”
Directed by Shahnawaz Ali, the movie is ready to hit the screens on 3 November.
