Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Tuesday tabled the Women’s Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha. The Bill has been named as ‘Nari Shakti Vandan.’

The Bill seeks to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies.

The bill was cleared by the Union Cabinet on Monday evening.
