Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday praised Chief Justice DY Chandrachud after he revealed that the Supreme Court docket would quickly be related to the Nationwide Judicial Information Grid (NJDG), saying that such a technological development would improve transparency and enhance the nation’s system for delivering justice.

Hailing the event, PM Modi stated on X, “Laudatory step by the Supreme Court and CJI DY Chandrachud Ji. Such harnessing of technology will further transparency and enhance the justice delivery system in our country.”

Chandrachud introduced that the apex court docket will quickly be linked to the NJDG, a repository of knowledge regarding pendency of circumstances and disposal fee of courts proper from the taluka degree to the nationwide degree.
